Attorney Kimberly Augustus-Tucker was raised in Fairfield, Alabama, and graduated from Fairfield High School. While maintaining a full time job with one of the largest health insurance companies in the State of Alabama, Attorney Augustus-Tucker received her Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), in Health Information Management. She was an active member of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA).

Attorney Augustus-Tucker has over 26 years of experience working in a healthcare environment; plus 13 years working with third party law suits regarding personal injury claims. She has extensive experience negotiating and settling subrogation liens with monetary values over $275,000.00.

Attorney Augustus-Tucker manages the Birmingham office of the Carter Law Firm. She practices in the area of personal injury, family law, criminal law, in addition to, contract review and negotiations.

Attorney Augustus-Tucker earned her Juris Doctorate from Birmingham School of Law. She is a member of the Alabama State Bar, the Alabama Lawyers Association and the American Bar Association. She has been admitted to practice law in the United States District Court, Southern District of Alabama.
